TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. Using this site
Life Past Earth gives you access to exoplanet data and AI-generated analysis. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Model estimates, not discoveries
Habitability scores, life probabilities, civilization estimates, simulations and future scenarios are model estimates and simulation outputs produced from public NASA Exoplanet Archive measurements. They are not evidence of extraterrestrial life, and they are not scientific findings. Do not rely on them for research, academic or commercial decisions.
3. Accounts
You need a free account for some features, including messaging our team. Keep your login details secure and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
4. Free unlocks and subscription
Visitors can unlock one planet report without an account, and a free account adds two more unlocks. Full access is a $19.99 per month subscription that renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access through the period you have paid for. Free unlock allowances are a promotion and may change for new users.
5. Acceptable use
Do not scrape or bulk-download the site, attempt to bypass paid or locked content, disrupt the service, upload unlawful or abusive content, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Content and ownership
NASA source measurements are public data. The site design, written content, and generated analysis remain ours. You may share individual pages and screenshots with attribution.
7. Availability and changes
The site is provided as is. Data syncs, simulations and rankings may be delayed, unavailable or change as new measurements arrive. We may update features or these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or reliance on model estimates.
