1. What we collect
Account details you give us (email address, display name, and a password handled by our authentication provider); the planet reports you unlock and the worlds you follow; support messages you send us; subscription status; and basic usage events such as pages opened and reports unlocked.
2. Visitors without an account
Your first free report unlock is remembered with an anonymous identifier stored in your browser and a matching record on our servers, so reopening that report stays free. If you later create an account, that unlock is moved into your account history.
3. How we use it
To sign you in, remember what you have unlocked, deliver the reports and dashboards, reply to your support messages, manage subscriptions, and understand which parts of the site are used so we can improve them. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Support messages
Messages you send through Support are stored with your account and are readable by our administrators so they can reply. Please do not include payment card numbers or other sensitive details in a message.
5. Service providers
We use providers for hosting and databases, authentication (including Google sign-in if you choose it), payment processing for the monthly subscription, and AI model processing for generated analysis. They only receive what they need to perform their service. Card details are handled by the payment processor and never stored by us.
6. Public data
Exoplanet measurements come from the public NASA Exoplanet Archive and contain no personal information.
7. Retention and your choices
We keep account, unlock and support records while your account is active. You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or to send you a copy, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, unlocks, follows and support conversations.
8. Security
Access to member data is restricted by per-user database rules, and administrator access is limited to accounts with an admin role. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
9. Children
The site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
